Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Mozambique achieves Top Employer 2026 certification for the first time

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) Mozambique has just received, for the first time, the Top Employer 2026 distinction, awarded by the prestigious Top Employers Institute. This international recognition attests to the company's solid commitment to creating an exceptional work environment, focused on the development, well-being, and appreciation of its employees.

With this new certification, the Mozambican operation now joins the other five CCBA operations in Africa that were also distinguished this year. This reinforces the consistency and strength of the people management practices implemented by the Group throughout the continent, a position consolidated by the renewed Top Employer Africa 2026 certification.

The year 2026 represents a time of expansion and maturity for CCBA. In addition to Mozambique, operations in Botswana and Kenya also receive their first national certification, demonstrating strategic alignment with global standards of excellence in HR. Simultaneously, it is the second consecutive year that CCBA has been recognized as a Top Employer at the regional level.

The network of excellence remains strong in other markets, with the renewal of national certifications in Ethiopia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda. It is important to highlight that all certified operations showed improved performance compared to 2025, demonstrating a continuous cycle of evolution and reinforcement of best organizational practices.

The Top Employers Institute, a global authority in HR certification present in 125 countries, evaluates organizations through a rigorous survey. The Top Employer certification results from demonstrated excellence in six strategic pillars: People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Well-being.

For Duncan Wyness, General Manager of CCBA in Mozambique, this recognition validates the company's core vision. “This certification reflects our unwavering commitment to the growth and excellence of our people. We guarantee a structured learning and development path within a united and supportive team,” he stated.

Wyness further explained that CCBA's success is based on a three-pronged model: “We thrive by offering beloved brands, generating a positive impact on communities, and achieving sustainable market results. To do this, we invest in our people, promoting an inclusive and dynamic work environment.”

And he concluded, reinforcing the company's philosophy: “At CCBA, we don't just offer a job. We create opportunities, provide the tools, and challenge each employee to build a career with purpose and autonomy.”

With this distinction, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Mozambique consolidates its position as a benchmark employer in the country, committed to sustainable and internationally recognized HR practices, actively contributing to the development of local talent and the socio-economic progress of Mozambique.
