Weather Alert: Heavy rain persists in Maputo and Gaza until Tuesday

The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) forecasts continued heavy rain in southern Mozambique, particularly in the provinces of Maputo and Gaza. According to meteorologist Manuel Francisco, heavy rainfall is expected to continue in the region in the coming hours.

Furthermore, rainfall totals could exceed 100 millimeters. However, improved weather is expected starting next Tuesday, with a significant reduction in rainfall intensity anticipated.

Therefore, the authorities recommend that the public take the necessary precautions, given the risks of flooding and other disruptions associated with these weather phenomena.
