Authorities Praise Partnership and Social Impact

Because true friends are not those who embrace at every moment, but rather those who bring solutions to difficulties. HCB are kind-hearted people, to whom we humbly express our gratitude,” he stated.

In turn, Tomás Matola, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HCB, reinforced the transformative nature of the investment. “The construction of this hospital is not just a project, but rather proof of our dedication to the communities of the Cahora Bassa District. We believe that access to quality healthcare services is fundamental to the development of the community and the country, and we are proud to play a role in improving the health infrastructure of this region,” he stated.

Broad Impact and an Appeal to the Community

The new hospital is projected to have a significant impact, serving approximately 187,000 inhabitants. In addition to the Cahora Bassa District, the unit will provide coverage to populations in the neighboring districts of Changara, Marávia, Mágoè, and Marara.

With the aim of drastically reducing the distances people have to travel to access medical care, HCB encourages the participation and ongoing support of the community throughout the project's development, emphasizing that everyone's collaboration is a fundamental pillar for building a healthier future in the region.
