The Professor

Paulo Vilanculo"

Following the trumpet with the smile of a flute In harmonic mastery I am shoulder to shoulder with hyperionic faith. Not as a saint, but as a sinner. A simple fisherman With the help of all the saints I wander in corners With euphoria I contemplate the world of Sofia. A slave chained to his cross. Giving birth With fear Unleashed servant brains Shaking off ironic adages of utopian fallacies Deconstructing theories of metaphysics He proudly proclaimed his wisdom. The essence and eloquence of science. I am not a prophet. I am not John the Baptist I'm not an artist. I am not a poet. But a little bit lurks within me. I'm not a seducer. I'm doing my part to awaken lives. In the inertia of static and lost souls I am not an atheist. Not even a catechist I am an educator. I am a teacher
