Woman seriously injured after dog attack in Mahotas

A woman is in critical condition after being brutally attacked by two dogs, one of them a pit bull, in the Mahotas neighborhood of Maputo. The animals reportedly escaped from a residence with the gate ajar and attacked the victim, inflicting multiple bites.

 The woman was rescued by neighbors and transported to a health facility, where she remains in intensive care. The police collected the dogs and are investigating the incident. The case has raised concerns in the community, which is demanding greater responsibility from owners of potentially dangerous animals
