Vodacom launches Bombinha Touch 4G and expands access to online platforms and the Internet

Vodacom Mozambique launched this Wednesday in Maputo the first Bombinha Touch 4G, a modern and affordable device designed to democratize access to the Internet and digital platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp and the MyMuze music streaming service.

With this launch, Vodacom reaffirms its commitment to digital inclusion and its purpose of ensuring that all Mozambicans can access technology, information and the opportunities of the digital world, regardless of their economic status or geographic location.

According to Linda Riwa, Business Director for the Private Segment at Vodacom Mozambique, the new Digit 4G Z1 was developed to eliminate the financial barriers that still limit millions of citizens' access to the digital ecosystem.

"This Bombinha was created to eliminate cost as an obstacle to digital access. For just 1,499 meticais, any Mozambican can acquire a device that allows them to browse the internet, communicate through social media, and use entertainment apps like MyMuze, a music streaming platform developed in Mozambique," said Linda Riwa.
