On International Women's Day, a connection workshop will take place in the Vila Luísa event hall in Marracuene, alluding to International Women's Day, which is celebrated today (8) March under the motto “When women come together, transformation happens”. According to Luísa Mboana, patron of this initiative, at the time, she said that this is an opportunity to exchange experiences between “hard-working” women who survive on the basis of informal trade, similar to the sale of vegetables, and between different types of low-income businesses.

Regarding International Women's Day, the same event is taking place simultaneously in Italy with the aim of recognizing women. There, women share success stories in different areas without involving the bank, highlighting rigorous planning. It became clear that women have strength and should not remain down, but rather should rise up and assert their creativity and add value to society.

It is worth remembering that International Women's Day was established by the United Nations-UN in 1975 and began much earlier. International Women's Day, celebrated every year on March 8, is dedicated to the fight for equality and the achievements of women (and not only). A brief history of the date in question, its origins date back to the beginning of the 20th century. In 1909, the Socialist Party of America celebrated the first Women's Day on February 28th in honor of the 15,000 women who protested against low wages and harsh working conditions in New York, in the United States.
