Triana at CIUEM

Maputo, August 6, 2026– The new Hybrid Data Center of the Eduardo Mondlane University Computer Center was inaugurated. Triana Business concludes the design and implementation of the Hybrid Data Center (CIUEM), a technological infrastructure designed and implemented by Triana Business to meet the current and future needs of the University, reinforcing its digital, operational and academic capacity.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Government, Eduardo Mondlane University, the World Bank, and other partner entities involved in carrying out this initiative.

The new infrastructure integrates, in a single solution, power supply systems, photovoltaic solar energy, precision air conditioning, monitoring and advanced technological components, guaranteeing greater availability, security and efficiency of CIUEM's digital services.

The Data Center was designed to keep pace with the evolving needs of the University, creating a technological foundation prepared to support the growth of teaching, research, and innovation activities.

"Infrastructure projects of this scale begin long before they become operational. They are the result of months of planning, engineering, and collaborative work by different teams. It is a source of satisfaction to see this project completed and ready to support CIUEM for many years to come."said Zuneid Karim, General Director of Triana Business.

According to David Bila, Technical Director of the Computer Center at Eduardo Mondlane University (CIUEM), the inauguration of this infrastructure represents a significant advance in the institution's digital capabilities and creates new opportunities for the academic community.

"The inauguration of this Data Center represents a qualitative leap in the digital capacity of Eduardo Mondlane University, reinforcing the processing and storage of information, as well as supporting teaching, research and academic management activities. In addition to ensuring the functioning of the university, this infrastructure provides environments dedicated to experimentation, allowing students to develop practical skills with technologies similar to those they will encounter in the job market."

For Triana Business, the implementation of this Data Center reflects its technical capacity in the design and integration of critical technological solutions, especially in environments where operational continuity, energy efficiency, and information security are key factors.
