Traffic has returned to normal on National Road No. 1, section 3 de Fevereiro/Incoluana, following emergency works

Road traffic has been restored in both directions on the 3 de Fevereiro/Incoluana section of National Road Number One (N1) in Maputo province. In a statement, the National Roads Administration (ANE) reported that the resumption of traffic follows the completion of emergency interventions triggered by heavy rains that partially degraded the road surface, forcing the adoption of an alternating system (stop and go) and a nighttime closure.

Despite the resumption of full traffic flow, ANE clarifies that improvement works are ongoing, and there may be occasional restrictions to safeguard the safety of users and teams on the ground, appealing for caution, respect for temporary signage, and adherence to speed limits.
