Spectatorship Numbers Rise for Mozambique vs Botswana Match

The match takes place at 3:00 pm this Monday (08) and counts towards the eighth round of group G.

"After CAF's decision regarding the number of spectators at the Zimpeto National Stadium, which was supposed to be 15,000, we appealed to CAF and FIFA to increase the number of tickets. CAF and FIFA effectively decided to increase the number of tickets by another 5,000," said Gervásio de Jesus.

This good news was shared on the sidelines of the signing of a memorandum with a mobile phone operator in Mozambique.

Tickets for the match between Mozambique and Botswana have already gone on sale at the usual locations.

The “Mambas” defeated the “zebras” by three goals to two (3-2) in the first round duel held in Gaborone.

The national team enters the scene this Friday (05) measuring forces with the similar one from Uganda in Kampala, in a game valid for the seventh round of group G.
