Rodrigo Almeida wins second place in Malaysia

Maputo, August 25, 2026- Mozambican driver Rodrigo Almeida once again stood out in the championship, securing second place in one of the races held at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia, on a day marked by very high temperatures and particularly demanding conditions for drivers and teams.

Throughout the weekend, Rodrigo Almeida remained competitive and focused, achieving a second place in one of the races and a fourth place in the other, results that allowed him to score relevant points for the championship standings.

The journey in Sepang represented another important challenge of the season, demanding great adaptability, endurance and concentration, in one of the most demanding weekends of the calendar.

“It was a very complicated weekend, especially due to the high temperatures, but we remained strong and focused until the end. We managed to achieve second place in one of the races and fourth place in the other, important results to continue scoring points in the championship,” said Rodrigo Almeida.

The Mozambican driver also highlighted the collective effort that allowed them to achieve these results under adverse conditions. “I want to thank the entire team for their work and dedication throughout these difficult days, as well as the sponsors for their constant support. We are heading strong towards Singapore for the final races of the championship,” he added.

The results achieved in Malaysia reinforce Rodrigo Almeida's consistent performance throughout the season and keep the driver in the fight for relevant positions in the overall standings.
