Rodrigo Almeida secures two podium finishes in Spain and strengthens his championship lead

Mozambican driver Rodrigo Almeida once again stood out by securing two podium finishes at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Spain, reinforcing his championship lead at a crucial stage of the Supercars Endurance season.

In a weekend marked by demanding races and strong competition on the track, Rodrigo Almeida managed to recover positions in both races, after starting from 6th place in both.

Despite the significant differences between the brands, the Mozambican driver remained focused and competitive, achieving a 3rd place in one of the races and a 2nd place in the other, results that allowed him to score important points and consolidate his position in the lead.

“It was another very positive weekend for us. We started from 6th place in both races and managed a good recovery. It was hard work, but nothing that prevented us from continuing to fight until the end.”, stated Rodrigo Almeida.

The driver also highlighted the importance of the results achieved at this stage of the season. “Even with huge differences between brands, we managed a 3rd and a 2nd place, which was very positive for us. The season is now entering a decisive phase. There is still a lot to compete for, but we arrive at this final stretch with the same ambition,” he added.

With two podium finishes in Valencia, Rodrigo Almeida reinforces his consistent performance throughout the season and remains focused on fighting for titles until the end of the championship.
