Rehabilitation of EN2 in Boane far from over

In the municipality of Boane, the rehabilitation of nearly 40 km of road on the EN2, from Boane to Eswatin, is encouraging residents and users, although it undermines the environment and, consequently, the respiratory health of everyone along the stretch. These projects have been ongoing for a long time; no one knows for sure when the project will be completed. Residents are exhausted by the process, which has led to several demonstrations in the community.

Some say that the work should proceed at a certain pace, working in shifts, on weekends and holidays to minimize the suffering of the community on this road.

Over the weekend, the process of signaling on the road poses enormous challenges to users who wish to travel there, and this is made worse by the absence of the company that is responsible fortheto be rehabilitated, most drivers regret the fact that it is the main road and should be given priority by the municipality at a time when Mozambicans complain that over the past fifty years the Frelimo Party has done almost nothing to develop communities other than destroy what was left with settlers, we tried to hear from the Boane City Council but without success.
