Puma Energy plans to open 15 new refueling stations in Mozambique by the end of this year, reinforcing the company's presence in the country and its proximity to its customers and the communities where it operates.
The expansion includes investment in modern infrastructure, service quality, and new solutions designed to meet consumer needs, while maintaining the safety of people, workers, and equipment as a top priority.
“We are in a very significant expansion process and, this year alone, we will add 15 new locations to our network. We want to bring modern and innovative solutions to our customers, continuing to prioritize the quality of our infrastructure and our brand, with a strong focus on the safety of people, equipment and our employees.”"This is what Paulo Varela, Country General Manager of Puma Energy in Mozambique, affirms."
One of the most recent milestones in this process was the inauguration of a new fuel station at Casa Jovem, in Maputo, held during the Maputo International Fair (FACIM). The station is integrated into a shopping center designed to provide essential services to the more than 1,500 families residing in the housing development and the surrounding communities. It combines fuel supply with shops and other services, providing greater convenience to residents and other customers in that area.
The opening of the Casa Jovem service point coincided with Puma Energy's participation in FACIM 2026, marking the company's return to the fair after a nine-year absence. Under the concept "Give it a Start," Puma Energy presented its range of products and services and strengthened relationships with customers and partners.
During the event, the company also explored new business opportunities. Under the motto "It's time to get started," the participation sought to encourage individuals and companies to take the next step, seize opportunities, and continue to move forward.
For Puma Energy, the opening of this new refueling station also reinforces the company's commitment to supporting the communities where it operates.
“One of our commitments is to energize the local communities where we operate. Puma Energy's presence at Casa Jovem marks the beginning of a new phase, in which our presence in the city will become increasingly visible and relevant to the communities we serve. We will continue to work with our partners to bring innovative solutions and a high-quality experience to our customers.”, Paulo Varela points out.
As part of its growth strategy in Mozambique, the company is also preparing to launch new loyalty products, designed to provide added value and benefits to consumers who choose Puma Energy for their daily commutes.
