President reinforces national unity in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr in Maputo

The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, participated this morning in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr with the Islamic community of Maputo, in a gesture that underlines the State's commitment to religious harmony and social cohesion.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a period characterized by fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection. Furthermore, this date represents a time of inner renewal, gratitude to God, and strengthening of family and community ties.

According to a statement, the Head of State's presence at the ceremony reinforces the Government's commitment to promoting national unity. Furthermore, the document highlights that Daniel Chapo's participation also serves to acknowledge the contribution of the Islamic community to the social and moral development of Mozambique.

In this sense, the event jointly celebrated fundamental values ​​such as solidarity, peace, and fraternal coexistence, reaffirming the State's respect for and recognition of the country's cultural and spiritual diversity.
