President Daniel Chapo and Volodymyr Zelenskyy strengthen ties and explore cooperation in strategic sectors

The President of the Republic of Mozambique, Daniel Francisco Chapo, and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a telephone conversation this week in which they discussed strengthening bilateral relations and identifying new areas of cooperation, with a focus on agriculture, energy, trade, and technical and vocational training.

During the meeting, the two Heads of State not only aligned common priorities but also expressed a commitment to deepening cooperation ties for mutual benefit. Similarly, they exchanged views on the international situation, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and diplomacy as fundamental tools for promoting global peace and security.

Furthermore, both leaders agreed on the need to maintain regular contact to ensure the continuity of political dialogue and the implementation of practical agreements in the identified areas. Finally, they reaffirmed respect for international law as an essential pillar for stability in relations between States.
