The President of the Republic, Daniel Francisco Chapo, has dismissed and appointed the new directors of the Police Science Academy (ACIPOL). This change, part of the Government's ongoing effort to strengthen higher education institutions, was made through a Presidential Decree.
In the exercise of his powers, and based on the Constitution of the Republic and the law on higher education, the Head of State dismissed Custódio Fabião Zandamela from the position of Rector of ACIPOL.
To succeed him, Rodrigues Nhiuane Cumbane was appointed to serve as Rector of the academy. Simultaneously, Ernesto Bernardo Guambe was designated as Vice-Rector of the institution. Both appointments were based on the decree that created ACIPOL.
With this leadership change, the Government aims to guarantee academic quality and scientific rigor in the training of defense and security personnel, thus ensuring the preparation of human resources aligned with current public security and internal order requirements.
