
The President of the Assembly of the Republic, Margarida Adamugi Talapa, interacted this Thursday, November 13th, with 110 students from the 11th and 12th grades of Sanana School. During the meeting, which took place within the framework of the "Open Doors" Program, Talapa explained to the young people about the organization and the functioning of the Mozambican Parliament.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to directly observe the proceedings of the 16th day of the 2nd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Republic, of its 10th legislature. On that occasion, the deputies debated the information from the Government, prepared and presented by the parliamentary groups of FRELIMO, PODEMOS, RENAMO and MDM.
Taking the opportunity, the President of Parliament encouraged the students to continue investing in their academic training. Margarida Talapa stressed that education is a fundamental pillar for building a bright future, both individually and for the development of the country as a whole.
