Two young men, aged 23 and 31, are being held in Limpopo district, Gaza province, accused of beating to death a man suspected of stealing a speaker valued at 1,800 meticais. Although they claim innocence and attribute the attack to bystanders, the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC) claims to have evidence directly linking them to the crime.
SERNIC spokesperson in Gaza, Zaqueu Mucambe, clarified that the case is under investigation and that those arrested will be held accountable. Authorities urge the public not to take justice into their own hands, emphasizing that violence cannot be the solution, even in cases of theft.
