Mozambique Begins Printing of School Books Nationwide

During the celebrations of the 52nd anniversary of the Mozambican Women's Organization (OMM), the Minister of Education and Culture, Samaria Tovela, announced that the government is already in negotiations with national printing companies for the printing of school books in Mozambique.

Tovela assured that the printing process will begin this year, with the aim of facilitating access to teaching materials for students. The minister highlighted that this initiative will not only reduce costs, but will also strengthen the local printing industry and create job opportunities.

With this measure, Mozambique seeks to reduce dependence on imported books, promoting self-sufficiency in the education sector and ensuring a more promising future for the country's children and young people.
