In Gaborone, the President of the Republic, Daniel Francisco Chapo, advocated for a new dynamic in cooperation between Mozambique and Botswana, geared towards transforming political understandings into concrete projects with an impact on the development of both countries, particularly in the areas of energy, transport and logistics, tourism, agriculture and fisheries.
In turn, President Duma Boko highlighted the potential of the Binational Commission to boost programs, investments and shared benefits, also pointing to opportunities for tourism cooperation between the Okavango Delta in Botswana and Vilankulo in Mozambique.
With this new approach, the two heads of state intend not only to deepen historical and diplomatic ties, but also to ensure that cooperation translates into visible results and concrete benefits for the populations of both countries.
