Machines accelerate the reconstruction of the Xikhelene Market

"An order given is an order fulfilled." It is with this spirit that the Maputo Municipal Infrastructure Company (EMIM) is already on the ground to support the reconstruction of the stalls destroyed by the fire that hit the Xikhelene Market last Saturday.

Following the promise made by the Mayor of Maputo, Rasaque Manhique, the machines began operating on the site, signaling the immediate start of the works.

The intervention thus comes in compliance with the guidance given this Tuesday by the Mayor himself, with the aim of supporting the affected businesses in resuming their activities as quickly as possible.
