FMF delivers 1,200 balls in the capital to promote school football with FIFA support

The Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) will deliver 1,200 footballs in Maputo City this Saturday (April 25th) – a concrete action of the global "FIFA Football for Schools" project to bring the sport to grassroots levels.

The ceremony will take place at the Grupo Desportivo Mahafil field, starting at 8:00 AM, and marks another step in the FMF's strategic plan to promote the sport throughout the country.

In addition to distributing sports equipment, the morning will be enlivened with team-building games and will also serve to reinforce support for official competitions.

The official handover ceremony will be led by Faizal Sidat, president of the FMF. He will be joined by members of the Maputo City Football Association, local government entities, and representatives of the beneficiary schools.

With this initiative, the federation reinforces its commitment to creating adequate material conditions – after all, only in this way can young talents develop their skills in a structured environment with the appropriate equipment.
