First Capital Bank brings joy to the children of Maputo, Beira and Nampula

First Capital Bank organized social impact initiatives in the provinces of Maputo, Beira and Nampula in celebration of International Children’s Day and the Day of the African Child.

The events took place in Maputo and Beira on 14 June and will take place in Nampula on 28 June, with the aim of bringing joy and fun to children in local communities. In Maputo and Beira, the event was developed in collaboration with Projecto Esperança, while in Nampula, support is directed to Mosteiro Madre de Deus – Lar da Nazaré. In all locations, bank employees participate actively and voluntarily, helping to make the children’s experience truly memorable. The events have a festive and lively atmosphere: clowns, mascot characters and lots of music set the tone for the day, guaranteeing smiles and fun for the little ones. In addition to the entertainment, there is always room for a special educational moment, with the introduction of basic notions of financial education, through the reading of children’s stories that teach, in a playful way, the importance of saving and managing money from an early age. This is the second consecutive year of support for Projecto Esperança. This year, the children demonstrated their enthusiasm and gratitude with special presentations prepared for the bank’s employees. Songs and dances enlivened the moment, creating an emotional and meaningful exchange between the participants and reinforcing the positive impact of these actions. “These activities demonstrate First Capital Bank’s ongoing commitment to creating a positive impact on the communities in which we operate.
