The Faculty of Law at Eduardo Mondlane University will hold a special posthumous tribute ceremony to its former faculty members on June 12th. The event, scheduled for 1 PM in Amphitheater B, aims to recognize the legacy of dedication, knowledge, and commitment to teaching left by those who helped build the institution's history.

The opening will be led by the Director of the Faculty of Law, Professor Eduardo Chiziane, followed by an honorable mention conducted by Master Augusta Eduardo and Master Amina Abdala, which will include a brief reading of the academic curricula and the display of photographs of those being honored.

Cultural events are planned with the Academic Tuna and the poet Jéssica Chiote, as well as public testimonials from friends and colleagues of the distinguished professors. During the ceremony, Diplomas of Honor will be awarded to family members present, and the launch of a brochure in memory of the honorees will be announced, an initiative of the Deputy Director for Research, Professor Carlos Serra.

The event will also include a speech by the representative of the Rector and will conclude with a visit to the Faculty Room, a cocktail reception, and a group photograph.
