Deplorable environmental situation around the national supermarkets Premier SPAR and Shoprite

The drainage ditches on the Lusaka Agreements Avenue and Milagre Mabote Avenue, which form the northern and southern borders of both Premier SPAR and Shoprite supermarkets, represent an attack on public health. They are black waters with a nauseating smell made up of chemicals of various kinds. Neighbors, motorists, users and children who pass by there against their will have inhaled the foul smell associated with rot.

According to the source on site, our reporter said that this situation of black water and consequently bad smell dates back more than three years, supermarket visitors also haveandm have been victims of this evil and no one from the municipal authorities and/or the colossuses has put forward any project to put an end to the deplorable situation.

Aware that products are sold for human consumption, at the very least, there should be some care to minimize the risk of contamination of the products, observing environmental issues and improving the quality of the air in that location in accordance with the profile of both organizations.
