Daki Card: a choice that reinforces solidarity in Mozambique

Provided by Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI), the daki Card is a solution that combines financial convenience with a commitment to social responsibility. When used at a POS to pay for purchases, this card allows BCI to reinforce its support for Social Solidarity Institutions with the equivalent of 0.01% of the amount transacted, at no additional cost to the cardholder.

Aimed at all current and potential private customers of the Bank, the daki debit card symbolises BCI's universal positioning and its multiplicity of solutions. The card is available in the entire BCI Branch Network, as well as in BCI Private Spaces and BCI Exclusive Centres, incorporating EMV Chip and contactless technology, among other distinctive features on the market.

By choosing the daki Debit Card, users are directly contributing to social responsibility projects in Mozambique. Each transaction represents a gesture of solidarity, translating into concrete support for social actions, with emphasis on initiatives in the areas of education, health, support for families affected by disasters, among others.

Since its launch around 12 years ago, this card has been contributing socially to the well-being of beneficiary communities, with particular emphasis on supporting victims of disasters in Mozambique.

At the same time, BCI carries out annual solidarity actions in provincial hospitals throughout the country, offering gifts and basic food baskets to children hospitalized in pediatric wards and their companions respectively. This initiative, which has been running for over a decade, aims to create more welcoming environments, bringing affection, joy and hope to those who need it most.
