Classes at Chongoanine Secondary School, located in Gaza province, were temporarily suspended following a recent major fire. The fire completely consumed the school's office, which housed administrative and educational files accumulated over more than three decades of operation.
According to the school administration, the incident poses a serious threat to the normal operation of the current academic year. Preparations for enrollment for next year, as well as the examination management process, are at risk, as many essential documents, including student and teacher records, were reduced to ashes. Local authorities are already investigating the causes of the fire and seeking solutions to mitigate the impact on the school community. In the meantime, students remain at home, awaiting further guidance.
