The second edition of the Jr NBA all star game promoted by the Clarisse Machanguana Foundation was held last Saturday, August 16th, an event held at the American School in the city of Maputo.
The event aims to promote learning the ABCs of basketball as early as possible and also a taste for scientific activities with a science, technology and mathematics fair for children from various secondary schools in the cities of Maputo and Matola, and this time was no different, with the American School pavilion being the stage for training sessions led by several coaches, including the foundation's patron Clarisse Machanguana, who paraded her class on various world stages, with emphasis on the WNBA, writes LanceMZ.
This edition also included some of the former stars who represented not only some clubs but also the national team, such as Carla da Silva, Ilídio Caifaz, Diolinda Ngulele, Carlos Niquice, among others.
For Carla da Silva, a former Mozambican international, this initiative is commendable, as it will allow the country to develop its basketball.
