The CFAO Mobility Mozambique group, the official representative of the Toyota, Suzuki, and Hino brands, laid the foundation stone for its new headquarters in Maputo on Thursday, October 16th. The project, estimated to last 12 months, aims to consolidate the brand's operations in Mozambique, raising standards of service, after-sales service, and operational efficiency. The investment, in the order of US$10 million, reflects the group's commitment to the economic, social, and urban development of the capital, in line with the ongoing expansion of its national network. Spanning two floors and over 27,000 square meters, the new complex will include a new Toyota showroom, a used car showroom, a state-of-the-art workshop, Toyota Genuine Parts stores, technical areas, and green spaces. The project prioritizes more flexible processes, greater comfort for customers and employees, and resource-efficient solutions, such as optimized technical lighting and more modern furniture and equipment. As part of this project, work is also underway to rehabilitate access roads to the future facilities, aiming to significantly improve the mobility of customers, employees, and the local population. Concurrently, a safe rainwater drainage system is being developed, covering both the building and the public road. This initiative aims to mitigate environmental risks associated with erosion, directly contributing to the promotion of safer and more dignified living conditions for the surrounding community. "With this new headquarters, we are taking a decisive step towards better serving our customers, always in accordance with Toyota's benchmark technical standards. It is an investment in service quality and in the future of mobility in Mozambique. The CFAO group believes in our market, and despite experiencing difficult times, we continue to invest. This infrastructure embodies our vision of sustained growth, combining technology, operational excellence, and modern design, allowing us to offer employees and customers greater comfort and efficiency in our services," says Henrique Bettencourt, General Manager of CFAO Mozambique. The CFAO Mobility group operates in Mozambique with two showrooms, two workshops, and two Toyota Genuine Parts stores in Maputo and, more recently, in Matola. It operates in all provinces through a nationwide network of Toyota Authorized Service Centers (CSAs), staffed by certified technicians and high-performance equipment, ensuring excellent service, greater customer proximity, reduced turnaround times, and Toyota quality wherever you are.
