CCBA in Mozambique strengthens partnership with CTA

A delegation from the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), through the National Business Council (CEN), conducted a fact-finding visit on Thursday, June 18th, to the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) factory in Mozambique, located in Matola-Gare. The objective was to gain firsthand knowledge of the production processes, quality standards, filling and packaging operations, as well as to discuss with the company's managers the main challenges affecting the business sector.

The visit was guided by the Director-General of CCBA Mozambique, Duncan Wyness, accompanied by the Director of Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability, Neyde Pires. The CTA delegation was led by its President, Álvaro Massinga.

During the visit, CTA representatives had the opportunity to observe the company's industrial operations, noting its commitment to operational efficiency, compliance with the highest quality standards, and the adoption of responsible production practices.

As a member of the National Business Council, Coca-Cola has been an active partner in the country's economic and business development, participating constructively in public-private dialogue processes, contributing to the improvement of legal and regulatory reforms, and supporting various initiatives promoted by the CTA.

The meeting also provided a space for open and constructive dialogue on the current socio-economic context and the challenges impacting the business environment in Mozambique. Both parties recognized the importance of collaboration between the private sector and business associations to drive the country's sustainable economic development. During the discussions, CCBA in Mozambique reaffirmed its active contribution to the national economy through its operations and local value chain.

This visit represents an important step in strengthening the partnership between CCBA in Mozambique and CTA, consolidating a joint commitment to building a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable economy.
