CCBA in Mozambique recognized as one of the largest contributors to IPRA by the City of Matola

July 9, 2026, Matola, Mozambique. Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) in Mozambique was awarded the Major Contributor of Municipal Property Tax (IPRA) prize by the Matola City Council, in recognition of its contribution to local economic development and its commitment to responsible business practices.

The award was presented during the Matola Economic Forum and Trade Fair, held under the theme "International Cooperation and Municipal Diplomacy as Drivers of Local Development".

“This distinction reflects CCBA’s commitment in Mozambique to Doing Business the Right Way, through compliance with its tax obligations and its contribution to local economic development through its industrial operations in the Municipality of Matola,” says Neyde Pires, Director of Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability at CCBA in Mozambique. “By contributing to municipal revenues, the company supports the efforts of the Municipality of Matola in making investments in infrastructure and public services that promote sustainable growth.”
