Bruno Dias will be the new office managing partner of EY Mozambique

The change is effective from July 1st. Paulo Reis, currently the head of EY in Mozambique, will oversee the leadership transition process over the coming months, working with his successor to renew EY’s position and growth in the market.

Bruno Dias has been appointed to the position of Office Managing Partner (OMP) of EY Mozambique, an executive leadership position that he will assume from July. Until then, as Deputy Office Managing Partner, he will work closely with the current OMP, Paulo Reis, in a transition process focused on generating value, working closely with the team and all clients, and on the affirmation and growth of EY in the market. “For this new phase of EY’s growth, in line with our All In strategy and the goals defined at a global level, we need a differentiated focus on the market, with an innovative spirit and preparedness to offer new solutions to our clients, leveraging all the potential we have in the Portuguese Cluster and in the region”, says Miguel Farinha, Country Managing Partner - Portuguese Cluster. “I am fully confident in the vast experience and innovative vision that Bruno Dias brings, which will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of EY. Since 2019, leading our Consulting team in Mozambique, Bruno has demonstrated these skills and I am certain that he has all the skills to succeed Paulo Reis as the leader of EY Mozambique”, he adds.

Bruno Dias is currently responsible for consulting services in Mozambique, having previously worked for other multinational consulting firms and joined the EY Lisbon office, as well

as the EY EMEIA Advisory Center. He holds a degree in Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa and a postgraduate degree in “Information Management and Business Intelligence in Healthcare” from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. His experience in consulting is vast, both in terms of sectors and skills. However, his curriculum highlights projects re- lated to strategy, digital transformation and transformation of corporate business models in the public, energy, healthcare, telecommunications and financial sectors. He has carried out projects in Mozambique, Angola, Cape Verde, Egypt, Portugal, Spain, Serbia, Czech Republic, Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates. “Mozambique faces a huge growth challenge and my work at EY aims to help achieve this goal, working daily with clients from various sectors, creating sustainable, inclusive and value-added business models. Paulo Reis leaves the leadership of EY Mozambique almost 7 years after taking on the role of Office Managing Partner, which was marked by his exemplary leadership, sustainable growth and recognition of quality among clients and stakeholders.
