BCI recognized by Negócios Magazine

On Wednesday, April 23rd, in Maputo, BCI was honored by Negócios Magazine as part of the "Gala Business" initiative, an event held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this Mozambican publication.

The gala served to publicly recognize institutions and individuals from the business world in various categories, highlighting achievements, innovation, and significant contributions to the development of the national market.

Upon receiving the award on behalf of the Bank, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of BCI, Francisco Costa, expressed satisfaction with the recognition, considering it an incentive to continue the Bank's commitment to the development of the country.

“This distinction deeply honors us and represents, above all, the appreciation of the work that BCI has been carrying out in service of the Mozambican economy and families. It is always encouraging to see the Bank's contribution recognized in promoting solutions that support the business sector, boost investment and strengthen confidence in the future,” said Francisco Costa.

At the event, Negócios magazine expressed its "appreciation for the contribution to the success," highlighting the solid path of institutional collaboration built over the years and emphasizing that BCI has been a partner since the publication's inception, having believed in and supported the project even before its first edition.

Over the past decade, BCI has maintained a consistent partnership with Negócios Magazine, supporting structuring projects and exploring opportunities that promote knowledge sharing, the exchange of experiences, and the revitalization of the business environment in Mozambique.

Among these initiatives, the “Business Club – Business Networking” stands out, a joint platform that brings together the Mozambican business community and creates an environment conducive to establishing contacts, exchanging experiences, and generating business opportunities. The initiative also reinforces BCI's position as a bank supporting Mozambican SMEs and large companies, through financial solutions tailored to the challenges and needs of this strategic segment of the national economy.

The other initiative is "Café Negócios," a discussion forum from Revista Negócios to promote dialogue and reflection on topics crucial to the economic and business development of Mozambique.

This distinction reaffirms the recognition of BCI's role as a partner in the country's economic and social development, and encourages the Bank to continue investing in initiatives that promote innovation, financial inclusion, and the strengthening of the Mozambican business sector.
