BCI promotes Children's Health and Well-Being

On Saturday, September 13, Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI) hosted a lecture entitled "Conservation and Preservation of the School Environment" at the Ilha de Moçambique Media Library. The event, promoted by the Student Association of Lúrio University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, brought together dozens of people with the aim of raising awareness among students at 25 de Junho Primary School about the importance of preserving and conserving the school environment for promoting collective health and well-being.

During the lecture, Key Samia, Chief Physician at the District Hospital of Ilha de Moçambique, highlighted the need to maintain high standards of hygiene as an essential condition for ensuring a healthy future and the development of children.

In turn, Amarchande Rei, a health technician at the same unit, also reinforced the importance of personal, food and school hygiene, emphasizing essential practices such as oral hygiene and proper food washing, to promote health and well-being.

By promoting this initiative, BCI reaffirms its commitment to protecting the environment and building a sustainable future for communities. The Bank has been investing in environmentally friendly initiatives that prioritize social and environmental responsibility, confident that only in this way can we ensure quality of life and harmonious development.
